For too long, our part of North Carolina has been treated like an afterthought. We’ve lost hospitals, good-paying jobs, and far too many young people who wanted to stay but couldn’t see a future here. That isn’t just a policy problem—it’s what happens when leadership stops fighting for us.
“Choose A Lane” is rooted leadership—leadership that listens first, speaks honestly, and fights for real-world solutions that actually work for all of Edgecombe, Martin, and Bertie.
I’m Abbie Lane. I grew up in and around the same small towns that are now fighting to keep jobs, hospitals, schools, and main streets alive. I’ve worked with local leaders and neighbors to bring attention and resources back to places that too often are overlooked.
This campaign isn’t about titles or politics. It’s about making sure our towns are heard, respected, and included when choices are made that shape our future.
